Just returned from a fantastic stay at Mountain View Villa. the house was absolutely stunning, with excellent facilities and thoughtful touches that went above and beyond our expectations. the rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Helena, our host, was amazing and made our stay even more special. She had birthday banners up for our kids upon our arrival and provided little extras throughout the house. We were blown away by her hospitality. Cons: Nothing to be said. 🙌.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the promenade, with amazing views of the sea and mountains. Helena was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Mountain View was exceptional. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable, with everything we needed and more. The owner thoughtfully provided fresh bread, milk, tea, and coffee, which we greatly appreciated. The instructions for accessing the house were clear, and we had no trouble finding it. Newcastle itself was a beautiful town with stunning views of both the sea and mountains.

The beds were not as comfortable as we would have liked, but it was a minor drawback.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk from the bus station and close to the beach. Plus, the hostess was kind enough to offer pick-up service from the bus station. Another great aspect was the attention to detail in providing amenities for guests. There were children's books, chess and movie DVDs, free milk and snacks, and even a variety of kitchen elements available. It really felt like a home away from home.

While everything seemed perfect, there was one minor inconvenience. The heat in the hotel had to be restarted every hour.

We had a fantastic time at Mountain View! The house is in a great location, close to the promenade and within walking distance of Newcastle center. Helena, our host, was amazing and provided everything we needed, including groceries and treats. The house was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Free parking and the proximity to Tollymore Forest Park were definite bonuses. We especially loved the cheese toasties made with the delicious cheese and bread provided.

We got great value for our money at Mountain View! The room was fantastic with comfy beds and everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, ice cream parlours, and an amusement park, as well as being a short drive to the beautiful Tollymore Forest Park. The host, Helena, was amazing, providing us with toys, books, and treats for our son. Can't wait to stay here again!

The house was incredible, located in a great spot with easy access to the beautiful scenery of the Mourne Mountains. The host, Helena, was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed, even leaving us a selection of groceries including bread and cheese that we enjoyed throughout our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with clear instructions for easy check-in.

As avid trekkers, we absolutely loved the proximity of Mountain to the stunning beach front, just 100m away. the warm and cosy atmosphere made us feel right at home, and the breakfast and milk left by the host were a thoughtful touch. We also appreciated the host's responsiveness in providing check-in information and local tips. a fantastic location for climbers looking to conquer Slieve Donard, as we could easily walk up the mountain from the property.
